The environmental management divisions of Veolia Environnement became active participants of the Hungarian market more than ten years ago, in the beginning of the 1990s.
Mass transportation opened a branch office, while the other divisions set up subsidiaries in Hungary: the annual turnover of the interests controlled by Veolia Water and Veolia Environmental Services, as well as the Veolia Energy-owned Dalkia Energia, exceeds EUR 264 million, employing 2,800 people.
The four business branches are legally separate, while at the same time - in line with international practices - they endeavour to cooperate closely both on business and communication level.
